The premise of Netflix’s Korean drama All of Us Are Dead is that teens discover a zombie outbreak while trapped at school. The outbreak is linked to a harmful virus through science professor Lee Byeong-chan. In All of Us Are Dead K-drama, Byeong-chan tells how the Jonas virus works. As the virus infects students, it shows a theory about how it mutates and ensures that the characters are immune.

As soon as the K-drama begins, he learns that all the events are due to Byeong-chan. When your child is bullied on a rooftop, he shows symptoms of transformation into a monster form and survives by falling off the ledge. Later, when Byeong-chan sneaks into the hospital to see his son. But his son suffers convulsions and becomes a voracious monster.

The outbreak occurs when a student is bitten by a lab mouse hiding in Byeong-chan’s classroom. The public temporarily learns why and how they developed the virus. After his son’s thugs fled, injured his son and tormented other students, Byeong-chan then sought to make him stronger.

By taking a mutated hormone in mice, he developed the virus. The Jonah virus turns worry into strength and turns the inflamed into uninhibited zombies. Video log entries also explain that the virus mutates on its own and attacks healthy cells.

While the main characters fight their classmates, some become inflamed but do not become hungry and subconscious zombies. There is an imaginable theory about how the virus mutates based on the feelings of the inflamed person.

Could it be that the Jonah virus mutates based on feelings other than worry?Byeong-chan explained that he created the virus to turn his son’s worry into anger and strength. In episode five of All of Us Are Dead, Cheong-san and Gwi-nam battle while watching the zombies. When Cheong-sang uses a phone to tear out Gwi-nam’s eye, he falls and is attacked by an organization of zombies.

Cheong-sang refuses to help him, despite his pleas. Gwi-nam is enraged and vows to kill Cheong-sam no matter what. While the public believes that Gwi-nam is dead and will transform, he comes back to life as a mutagen of the virus. He has all the talents of a zombie. however, he remains aware of who he is.

When Nam-ra is bitten through a mutated Gwi-nam while seeking to save Su-hyeok, she does not turn around without delay. Knowing what could happen, he stays strong and is fit to go. Throughout We Are Dead, she prevents herself from walking away with Su-hyeok’s help and love and her own resilience. The theory about the virus suggests that a person’s feelings before and after being bitten mutagenic.

They also saw this before Byeong-chan disappeared in episode 4. He voluntarily sacrifices himself to save the detective and is not afraid of the monsters he has created. Later, he is alive and attentive with a mutated edition of the virus. In the finale, Nam-ja explains that there are others like her.

One of the examples of the mutated virus theory is Cheong-san and Gyeong-su. When Na-yeon intentionally infects Gyeong-su, the audience sees what they see when they turn around. He begins to panic because the virus creates a hallucination. This proves Byeong-chan’s explanation that worry leads to adapting to a zombie.

The All of Us Are Dead virus theory also applies to Cheong-san. When Gwi-nam bites him in episode 11, he doesn’t turn around right away. He gives On-ja his badge and confesses his feelings for it. his first kiss. To save his friends, he enters the structure to finish off Gwi-nam once and for all. It also attracts zombies with sound to open an escape route to the characters.

Throughout the scene, he never sees an indicator of Cheong-san’s turn. He even screams that it is the most beautiful day of his life. The theory suggests that Cheong-san’s feelings of love towards On-ja, his friends and his bravery resulted in a mutated virus.
