In an effort to make where to travel a little less difficult, as COVID-19 continues to cause restrictions and regulations for travel in the United States, United Airlines has created an interactive color-coded map that details everything travelers want to know. Before doing, plan a trip.
The map lists everything from whether you allow access to a state, possible quarantine measures, verifying needs and even masking orders for all 50 states and Washington DC, the company shared with Travel Leisure. open and if there are express restrictions.
“We know it’s a challenge to keep up with the constantly changing list of travel restrictions, policies and regulations, so we offer an undeniable and undeniable tool that helps consumers where to travel,” Linda Jojo, executive vice president of generation and virtual director, said in a statement. “By providing the latest data on the destinations we serve, consumers can confidently compare and purchase trips and help them locate the destinations that best suit their preferences. “
The map’s color code function and drop-down menu provide more detailed constraints and state-specific rules.
Several states have quarantine or measures for visitors from other states. New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, for example, require travelers from dozens of states to isolate themselves for two weeks when entering the three-state region. Hawaii is forcing visitors to quarantine and has postponed its plan to receive tourists again until at least October.
United’s new feature occurs when the airline has eliminated the maximum replacement fares on domestic flights and is committed to allowing all of its consumers to spend the night on domestic and foreign flights. Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines did the same.
United does not seek to teach passengers before boarding a flight. Google Travel brought a similar feature, linking travel health notices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
