Travel in the EU: which countries are open to Americans, vaccinated or not?Country by country for January

As Europe battles the Omicron variant of Covid-19, restrictions continue to evolve in the region: many EU countries are recording record daily infection rates and the region as a whole hit the one million daily cases mark on Wednesday this week.

Here’s the consultant on whether EU countries are settling lately for U. S. travelers. In the U. S. , which travelers want to enter and whether they want to get vaccinated, especially for unvaccinated U. S. passengers (which can have an effect on insurance policies).

Vaccinated – USA U. S. legal travelers, either with a negative PCR result or with evidence of having won a booster shot.

Unvaccinated: Unauthorized travelers from the United States.

They can be controlled at the border and quarantined, or they can go unchecked and enter a ten-day quarantine for the duration.

Anyone arriving for tourist reasons will also have to provide on arrival proof of accommodation paid for the entire stay, vaccinated or not. It is non-negotiable.

Vaccinated – USA USA Legal travelers, with a negative Covid-19 check result. Arrivals must complete the passenger location form.

Unvaccinated: Travelers from the United States are allowed.

Vaccinated – Legal travelers from the United States with result – maximum 48 hours with immediate antigen or 72 hours with PCR at the time of admission.

Unvaccinated: Travelers from the United States are allowed, but must be checked within 24 hours of arrival and self-isolated for 10 days after arrival in Denmark. People can “check” quarantine on day 6 with a negative PCR test result.

Vaccinated: Legal travelers from the United States with a negative control result (PCR, although some antigen checks are allowed) and performed no later than 48 hours prior to arrival. All visitors will also need to indicate that they do not have Covid. -19.

Unvaccinated: Legal U. S. travelers for non-essential travel, as the U. S. UU. se found lately on the Red List. A 10-day quarantine is also required, if allowed.

Unvaccinated: Legal travelers from the United States with a negative Covid-19 test result and will need to enter a five-day quarantine, even if the Covid-19 test result is negative. At the end of the five-day quarantine, they are also required to go through an antigen or PCR check to get out of self-isolation.

Vacunados-EE. UU. Se allowed to travelers, without the need to perform a check before departure, but they must pass a side check on day 2, booked before arrival.

Unvaccinated: Legal travelers from the United States with quarantine and verification. Passengers want negative Covid-19 verification prior to departure and will need to self-isolate for ten days upon arrival in the UK and check themselves on days 2 and 8.

All passengers arriving in the UK will be required to complete a passenger location form within 48 hours of arrival.
