Pied and mouth disease is a viral infection. According to the World Animal Health Organization (Woah), it affects “cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and other unlawful ruminants”. Symptoms come with blisters on the nose, tongue or lips, internal the mouth, between the feet or above the hooves, on the trayons and the strain issues on the skin. Other symptoms would possibly come with depression, fever, hypersalivation, weight loss and loss of appetite. The incubation era is 2 to 14 days. The mortality rate is upper in young lambs, calves and piglets and is not fatal in adult animals. It does not provide a fitness threat for humans.
