The electrical engineering specialist Houghton International has announced plans to invest in new workspace in Newcastle.
A local firm plans to invest in additional 44,000 square feet of space currently vacant CA Parson works in Heaton.
Founded in 1984, Houghton International serves more than 200 clients worldwide from its base in Newcastle, working in various sectors, including power generation, oil and gas, Railways, and industrial and manufacturing production,
The new premises, located next to the workshop for repair of machinery Houghton International, now owned by Siemens Power Generations Service will initially be used to accommodate the growing services for the repair of pumps.
