Mumbai, October 16 (IANS) Is world food day and “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” actress Simran Khanna says although people are currently taking supplements and medications for nutrition, simple home-cooked food is no less when it comes to nourishing your body.
“My definition of diet may differ from others because I feel we should eat food from the region we belong to. As I am from a Punjabi family so I should eat Punjabi food but Yes not overeat. With proper nutrition, we should do yoga and go for morning walks, ” Simran said.
“Today people take a lot of supplements and medications for protein and nutrition, but if you see, no matter what our dad and Nani used to do were the perfect foods. I believe in eating as much homemade food as possible, but avoid overeating and doing daily exercise, ” she added.
