Russia: 3 American diplomats stopped in the area of the explosion

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Moscow is not accusing U.S. President Donald trump of failing to improve U.S.-Russian relations he gave during his election campaign, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Arab broadcasters.

“We know that, including during his previous election campaign, he advocated the normalization of (Russian-American relations), but unfortunately this has not yet happened,” Putin told Al Arabiya, Sky News Arabia and RT Arabic.

“But we have no complaints because we see what is happening in U.S. domestic policy,” he said, according to a transcript posted on the Kremlin’s website on Sunday.

Putin said that the” domestic political agenda ” does not allow Trump to take steps aimed at dramatically improving bilateral relations, adding that Moscow in any case will work with any us administration to the extent that Washington itself wants it.

Putin also said Russia has weapons that neutralize any threat from NATO missile deployments in Poland and Romania.

“It is obvious that this poses a threat to us, because it is an attempt to level our strategic nuclear potential. It is doomed to failure, this attempt, it is already obvious, ” he said.

The interview was broadcast on Sunday ahead of Putin’s visit to Saudi Arabia on October 14.
