Writer for All Pro sports July 21, 2010

Officials in Calabasas, California have confirmed that three bodies have been recovered from the scene of the fatal helicopter crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others.

According to TMZ, the bodies were recovered today at the scene of the crash, but they have not been identified. Search crews worked through the day yesterday, but they were forced to suspend their search at night due to darkness and safety concerns.

The helicopter was said to have been flying in unfavorable conditions when it crashed into a mountain. The search for bodies has been a difficult one due to the difficult terrain surrounding the area of the crash.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families affected by this travesty.
