WASHINGTON-After a tense day between Capitol hill lawmakers and the White house, House speaker Nancy Pelosi had some fun.
The President of the United States Donald trump tweeted a photo of the group at a meeting in the White house than Pelosi is behind the Desk and pointing his finger at the President. In a tweet, trump said Pelosi had an ” unrelated crisis.”
So, Pelosi took this cover photo on her Twitter and Facebook pages.
Lawmakers and the administration met Wednesday to discuss Turkey and Syria, a meeting that led to congressional Democrats pulling out of the meeting after they claimed the President was “demeaning” toward Pelosi, and was ” meltdown.”
Pelosi, one of the few women in the photo, is seen standing and addressing the room with the President and other Republicans across the table.
Pelosi’s emphatic photo quickly went viral.
The house overwhelmingly backed a resolution condemning trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria, a rare bipartisan rebuke at a time when the President is trying to shore up GOP support to avert impeachment.
Democratic lawmakers said Pelosi left today’s meeting after trump called her a ” third-tier politician, “to which Pelosi responded,” I wish you were a politician, Mr. President. Then you would know the art of the possible.”
“Do you think they love me?”Trump also tweeted, showing a photo of Democratic party leaders.
Pelosi went viral before after things that were seen as poking fun at the President, like when she reached out to loudly clap at trump’s latest state of the Union address, or when she became a meme omov after confidently donning sunglasses while leaving a controversial white house meeting last December.
