NFL after all sends proposed IDER plans to NFLPA

The NFL will need to have a plan to deal with a COVID-1 nine outbreak relative to a given team. The perfect news is that, after all, the league has emergency reaction plans for infectious ailments for all 32 teams. The bad news, potentially, is that the plans might not be wise enough.

Mar Mase of the Washington Post reports that Dr. Allen Sills, the league’s leading medical officer, approved all 32 IDER plans.

According to Maske, the NFL Players Association won IDER plans, NFLPA approved them, and NFLPA is reviewing the others.

It is essential that the league, the group station and the union feel safe and secure from emergency reaction plans. If an epidemic occurs, it is not time to negotiate or talk about how to act, to achieve minimal virus spread, and to miss few or no gambling.

While agreement on the IDER plans won’t solve all of the current problems between the league and the union, agreement on these critical policies becomes a step in the right direction.
