Although he is not in a position to reveal the call from the fast food company he is in talks with, Helmick Milford’s Arthur Helmick obtained approval for conditional use allowing two fast food restaurants on the site of Wendy’s former Milford location. Helmick bought the old Wendy’s after buying the old Walmart/Sitel construction that he has since converted into a movie theater and church.

Schreier said that since the tenant’s call may not be released at this time, he can’t give the main points about signage or how many workers can be hired. Councilman Andy Fulton was involved in the tenants of the new fast food store being businesses that already existed in Milford and were moving elsewhere.

“The two proposed tenants are not local in the market,” Helmick said. “These are national tenants that we’re working with right now. Another comment I would like to make is that the adjacent property, the Harrington property, I also bought. a point.

The Board unanimously requests it.
