The top Republican in the House gave his account of the White house meeting in which House speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., House majority leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. is out.
Pelosi, Hoyer and Schumer left because they are “passionate” about impeachment and could not “handle” the President’s discussion of withdrawing troops from Syria, house minority leader Kevin McCarthy said Wednesday on ” Ingraham Angle.”
He said the three democratic lawmakers ‘ account in the press afterward was inaccurate.
“They left the meeting, other Democrats stayed, and we had the most normal meeting you could ever have, which was productive with the joint chiefs General, the Secretary of defense and the President talking about how we keep the homeland safe,” he said.

He and Schumer argued that President trump has stated that some members of the ISIS organization are “Communists” and that the democratic leadership may be happy to hear that.
On “Ingram’s Corner,” McCarthy, R-Calif., said trump showed true leadership by staying in the boardroom.
“Are these people passionate ? they are fixated on impeaching this President instead of worrying about solving our problems, ” he said.
