Jordan Gray plays on Friday Night Live
Comedian Jordan Gray stripped naked on Channel Four starting with the relaunched special episode of Friday Night Live.
The ’80s comedy series returned for a one-off episode on Friday, October 21 as part of the channel’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Ben Elton is back at the helm, along with former Friday Night Live cast members Enfield, Brand and Julian Clary.
Several new comedians have also given their impression on the show, adding Gray.
The comedian, who is trans, directed the song “Better Than You” from his critically acclaimed exhibition Edinburgh Fringe Is It A Bird?.
At the end of the song, Gray, who made the impression on The Voice in 2016, shouted, “The most productive thing about live TV is that I can do stupid things like that.
After improvising on the keyboard, he ran down the level and stripped naked to applause and cheers from the audience, before returning to the keyboard and playing with his penis.
Gray’s performance was praised by Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs on Twitter, who advised her to be the next prime minister.
“#JordanGray just stripped naked in the middle of a song in #FridayNightLive to show off her dazzling breasts and equally dazzling member, with whom she played keyboards as she finished her performance and the entire space down,” she tweeted.
“So more worthy than Parliament today. #Jordanie4PM. “
On Saturday morning, October 22, Gray tweeted: “I woke up this morning to the smell of burning ham. And it’s DELICIOUS. “
In a five-star review of Gray’s Fringe, Isobel Lewis of The Independent wrote that the moment of nudity is “as shocking as it is hilarious”.
“A friend told me that her mom participated in Is It a Bird?with skepticism about the trans issue, but that is understood, for the first time, by what the network is going through,” reads the magazine.
“It would be simple to think that Gray’s paintings are light, rough and fun, because they are. But they can, and will, replace reviews and lives.
