Television psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane will return in a new reboot of ParamountArray

The return of Kelsey Grammer’s beloved character was shown at the launch of the streaming service via ViacomCBS.

Grammer will produce the new series alongside writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, and is ahead to revive Frasier.

“Having spent more than 20 years of my artistic life on the Paramount lot, either generating and betting on several, I would like to congratulate Paramount on his access to the world of streaming,” he said. “I look forward to sharing the next bankruptcy on Dr. Frasier Crane’s ongoing journey.

Grammer first played the pompous Doctor in Cheers and Wings, before landing on his own show, which lasted seasons between 1993 and 2004.

The exhibition also starred David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin and the late John Mahoney.

Deadline’s resources state that Hyde Pierce has been contacted to repeat his role as Frasier’s brother Niles, and Gilpin and Leeves have made it clear that they would be interested in returning for a new show.

No date has been set for Frasier’s return.
