STARKVILLE, Mississippi (WCBI) – The long-term demolition of a Starkville shopping mall continues.

Crews are demolishing the Garan Manufacturing building.

Developer Mark Castleberry believes Triangle Crossing will inspire spending locally.

When the allocation was first announced two years ago, developers had hoped that a retail and grocery store would be built on the Highway 12 site.

Garan recently moved to North Star Industrial Park off Highway 389.

Construction on Triangle Crossing is expected to be completed by next fall.
