The current contract to play at the stadium, known as” JerryWorld”, runs until 2024. While many fans would prefer to be at the end of it, former athletic Director Scott Woodward was not in that camp when asked a year ago.
“We like it,” Woodward told the Houston Chronicle last September. “This is one of those games where revenue is good, and going to Dallas every year compared to going to Fayetteville (ark.) every two years benefits us. And the record speaks for itself.”

“I’ll tell you where it helps, too, when you happen to go play bowl games or if you start getting into playoff games, neutral site games … Your children are in an atmosphere or environment that is not either in (your) home or your home, ” Fisher said. “That’s how you play these types of games, basic bowl games … game of the playoffs. The more you can put your kids in that situation … it’s a growing experience for them because it’s a 50-50 crowd and nobody has home-field advantage .”
“The more big venues you can play in the way that … where you play in a playoff game … anytime you can play (Arlington or other playoff spots) it’s good, ” Fisher added.
