2 cases of the COVID strain in the UK reported in New York, 1 similar to a group on Long Island

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Mayor Bill de Blasio is calling for an early ban on flights from the UK after two strains of COVID were reported in New York.

According to Governor Andrew Cuomo, one case discovered in Manhattan and the other in Queens.

The mayor said the verification and traceability framework in contact with the other two people tested positive.

One of them visited the UK.

The case of Queens is similar to a British strain case organization on Long Island. Two cases have been known in Suffolk County and two cases in Nassau County.

Four instances in Saratoga County and two instances in Warren County were connected to a variant-time organization. Three other instances in Warren County are under investigation and could potentially be connected to the group.

CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

The case of Manhattan is similar to both groups.

Health says the British mutation is more contagious.
